Hello everyone. First of all, thank you to those who came and showed their support! We are very happy with the overall event, and including everything from bid items to cash donations we made $2,500.00 for FOF!

If you missed it, you missed some great stuff. The quality of items was excellent. We had two custom made cat trees. One was bought by Janette and her husband Dave, the other was bought by Michele...and given to the kittens at the adoption center. (thank you!)

We want to thank Chris and her family. They made it happen. She spent likely hundreds of hours on this event. She made calls, did the leg work, and collected most all of the donated items. She got the location, the food, everything. I only did invites, and some other minor things. THANK YOU CHRIS.

Pet Expo 2009

The 2009 Pet Expo was a great day! We adopted out a bunch of cats/kittens and spread the word about T-N-R. Gina helped out at the Spay Neuter Express and lots of unwanted kittens have been avoided!

RAM (Remote Area Medical)
On November 10th, 2007 Focus on Ferals was pleased to assisted at another RAM (Remote Area Medical), under the direction of Dr Bruce Langlois, at a downtown Grand Rapids Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic. These low cost spay/neuter clinics would not be possible without the generous funding of Vicky's Pet Connection. All GR area RAM clinics are subsidized by Vicky's Pet Connection. Low-income families were able to get their cats and dogs fixed for $5 and $10, respectively. Over 80 animals were successfully sterilized that day! Again it was an incredible day for all involved. Thousands of unwanted litters will be prevented, all from the events of ONE day and the dedication of dozens of volunteers. We are very proud to have been a part of it, and can't wait to assist in the next one!

On June 30th, 2007 Focus on Ferals assisted RAM (Remote Area Medical), under the direction of Dr Bruce Langlois, at a downtown Grand Rapids Free Spay and Neuter Clinic. These free spay/neuter clinics would not be possible without the generous funding of Vicky's Pet Connection. All GR area RAM clinics are subsidized by Vicky's Pet Connection. Low-income families were able to get their cats and dogs fixed at no charge. Over 100 animals were successfully sterilized that day! What an incredible day it was for all involved. And how many thousands of unwanted litters will be prevented, all from the events of ONE day and the dedication of dozens of volunteers. We are very proud to have been a part of it, and can't wait to assist in the next one!
