Our entire litter of kittens was adopted. Penelope and Jennie went home with adoring families. Molly and Winston were adopted by their foster parents (now foster 'failures'). And 3 big kitties also found homes! Calista our spit fire SPK was officially adopted (was on a trial adoption and they finalized it). Bert, an all white boy, went home with his mom who drove from Three Rivers to get him. And last but never least, our newest SPK Rey was adopted. He had only been here 2 days! This couple knows what everyone in rescue has also known forever; black cats are the BEST!
We could not be happier for the 7 adoptions last nite. Adoption is the only way we can continue rescuing cats in desperate need. Thank you adopters!!!
Hey out there! I have a secret for you. I'M A MONKEY hiding out in a cat shelter! Okay, okay, not really. I'm a fairly new resident here at FOF. They named me Monkey not because I am one but because someone thinks I look like one. I think they are breathing in too much litter dust because I don't see the resemblance. Do you? I don't have the heart to argue with them about it though. They feed me, they play with me, they rub my belly (and I love every stinking minute of it!). They keep commenting how awesome and friendly I am. I don't have the heart to argue with that either. Cuz, you know, they are RIGHT!
Come down soon and meet me. We are having our rummage sale June 4-6. If some lucky family hasn't scooped me up by then, pop in and give me an "ee-ee-ee!" get it? monkey sounds? I crack myself up. Well, excuse me. I have to bat around that little pink ball behind me in the picture. It's been mocking me and I have to show it who's boss!
