We have helped a ton of kitties, a couple dogs and even rabbits however we have no capacity for horses...,this is being posted as a favor to this family. If you or someone you know can help, please contact them directly.
Also, please refrain from negative comments, giving up a family member is never easy.
To whom this may concern,
My family is looking to re-home three wonderful horses. Unfortunately, when my mother became sick a few years ago, the medical bills were too much for my parents and my father is currently facing foreclosure on their beautiful forty acre farm and also bankruptcy. When my mother passed away this January my father is faced with an auction on our home. However, we need to begin looking for an option for the horses as well as other animals which have called home for the last twenty two years. So I am writing you to give you a bit of background on why we are looking into re-homing our horses. This is a very difficult decision for my family as these horses are a part of our family. However; as difficult as this decision is it is the most responsible action for the horses for their sustained care. One of the horses was born on the farm in 1997 and the other two have called the farm their home for the last 10 years. If your facility has space available we would love to hear back from you.
Animals are located in Birch Run, Saginaw County. Please contact Acacia White firstname.lastname@example.org or 989-780-1429 if you can help
Thank you Acacia White-Valley

Niko needs a new home. His owners are having difficulties and the ultimate decision is to re-home him. He has less than 2 weeks to find placement.
He is a lab/boxer mix. 7 years old. Approx. 80 pounds. Has an adorable set of ears. One up, one down! Good with cats, dogs and kids. Kennel and potty trained. Does not get on furniture (I'm sure that can be fixed) Mild mannered, mostly lazy. Fixed and completely UTD on shots. Located in the chesterfield MI area, but I'll transport him anywhere. Call or text 810.922.5057 asap!!!!
If you have followed our page, you know that it is staffed by volunteers! We are a group of people with the single goal of improving the lives of the FOF kitties until they find their forever home!
We wouldn't volunteer if we didn't love what we do!
Our kitten adoption center can only comfortably house 40-60 kittens along with 10 more spaces at PetSmart in Grandville, MI. Additionally, we have a handful of foster homes, but if we could get several more, we could increase our intake.
Our major requirement for both foster homes and volunteers is that you are dependable. We need dedicated people who are willing and able to be there for the cats. If you are seriously interested in volunteering or fostering, please contact us today! Please visit www.focusonferals.org/volunteer-application.
*We have an immediate need for volunteers at our adoption center and PetSmart. We are also looking for anyone interested in fostering or becoming an Adoption Counselor. If you are available, we want to hear from you!
