Happy Adoption Update from our office cat KC's new home:
KC is wonderful. He quickly made himself at home and is sleeping on my lap as we speak! I truly believe he was meant for our family. He snuggles with us all but especially my daughter. I do not think she would get that much affection from a kitten.
He has actually jumped in the shower twice with me in the morning, the first time I almost had a heart attack!
KC is a blessing and we all love him so very much. Thank you for allowing me to change my mind
And I SO BORED here. I mean really, there is nothing but other cats here. And most other cats are just beneath me on a social level. See, I was fortunate enough to get saved from GCAC a few months ago. Then the Nylaan family took me home on a trial adoption. I loved it there. And I tried to claim the humans as mine. Just one little problem; their other cats would not go away. So I had to bring out my inner diva, and tried to bully them into submission. Well, it was not exactly 'fair' for their other kitties to live in the basement, so I came back to FOF. We all agreed that I need to be top cat.
I am doing ok here, even with all the other rescue cats. It's not in my best interest to take on 12 other cats, so I keep to myself. But really. There must be someone out there with just 1-2 other cats (preferably male laid back cats), who would like to adopt me? I keep myself clean and presentable. I love to be petted and adored. I have scheduled time to meet with you and discuss possible living arrangements which will get me out of this hell hole on Thurs 6-8 and Sun 12-2. And now I must take another nap. ~Ashley (female 1.5 years old)
Brianna and Trevor are some of the best kitty parents we have ever met. Even the possibility of ringworm did not scare them away. And we could not be happier to send two of our precious babies home with them today! After 3 visits (so many wonderful kitties made the decision super hard!) they decided on Lannister (bob tail sweetie from GCAC) and Cow (eartipped kitty rescued by Tammy Beal from Genesee County).
